Nancy McClelland

Prior to establishing McClelland + Rachen with Lars Rachen in 2001, Nancy served as worldwide head of Christie’s 20th Century Decorative Arts Department. During her 20-year tenure with Christie’s she developed particular expertise in the areas of Tiffany, Arts + Crafts and Art Deco. She has a special interest in architecture of the 19th and 20th centuries. Ms. McClelland was a member of the IRS Art Advisory Panel for 14 years from 2001.

McClelland has a comprehensive knowledge of 20th Century Decorative Arts and Design. Services include advice in selling and purchasing works at auction or privately in the categories of Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Tiffany, Post-War and Contemporary Design.

In 2005, Martin Eidelberg, Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen, Nancy McClelland and Lars Rachen authored The Lamps of Louis Comfort Tiffany which was published by Vendome Press in New York.
